Myntra sells 2.4 million items on day 1 of EORS, Blink Go sold out

Online fashion e-commerce major Myntra claimed it sold over 2.4 million products on day 1 of their flagship event End of Reason Sale (EORS) and clocked Rs 10 crore (approx $1.5 million) sales in the first 10 minutes of the event.

The 8th edition of the event also saw the launch of Myntra’s private label in the smart wearable segment ‘Blink Go', which was sold out within 15 hours of the sale, according to a statement issued by Myntra. The silver camo and black camo versions of the product were sold out in 30 seconds and 5 minutes respectively, it added.
 
Myntra, which had set a target of 5 lakh new customers during the 4 day sale period, has already managed to acquire 2 lakh new customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Ananth Narayanan, CEO, Myntra-Jabong, said, “We have had a great start to EORS 8 with over 5 lakh users ordering 2.4million products on Day 1 of the sale. We have acquired 2 lakh new customers and our first wearable device Blink Go sold out within 15 hours of the sale opening.  The enthusiasm witnessed among shoppers during EORS is extremely encouraging with traffic to the platform rising by 3x over baseline days.”
 
Myntra is expecting 40 percent growth during the 8th edition of the ongoing End of Reason Sale (EORS) as compared to the previous edition and expects sales to jump 6 times during the sale period.
