Myntra partners with IIFA for exclusive red carpet line

Online fashion retailer Myntra as part of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) celebrations will launch an exclusive red carpet line in Bangkok on June 23.

The red carpet fashion line that will be showcased as part of the IIFA show will include the classic Evening Pastels, the Fun Ruffles and Flounce, the glamorous Baroque Nights (Black + Gold), the sexy Woo in Ruby and the trending Asymmetric Hemlines, all inspired by the IIFA red carpet looks, the company said in a statement.
 
Last year, the Flipkart owned fashion firm had hosted a fashion show at IIFA Stomp in New York and had also started its ‘see now buy now’ event during the Bollywood awards ceremony.

This year too, Myntra plans to do something similar and will offer red carpet looks put together from an assortment of outfits and accessories by in-house experts at affordable prices to the consumers. The curated styles will showcase Bollywood style icons’ Red Carpet looks, which will be shoppable on Myntra.

As IIFA is a Bollywood event and Myntra a major fashion e-tailer -- which owns private labels like Hrithik Roshan’s HRX, Deepika Padukone’s All About You, and Ranveer Singh endorsed Roadster -- the event is expected to boost sales during the event.
