India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW), an event to display creations of designers and brands catering to kids' fashion, will be held on June 24-25 and July 1-2, 2017 in Mumbai and Delhi, respectively. The event is a joint venture between Event Capital and Craftworld Events.

"At Event Capital, we take kids genre very seriously. In this endeavour, we acquired an outdoor kids festival earlier in the year and are completing half a decade of the continent's most iconic kids fashion festival - India Kids Fashion Week," said Swaroop Banerjee, CEO, Event Capital.

"The kids fashion industry today is booming. The kids today are aware of fashion and they know exactly what they want. In such a scenario, it becomes imperative for the brands to reach out to their consumers directly. And what IKFW does is provide a platform for that," said Manoj Mahla, director, Craftworld Events.

The last edition of IKFW saw leading designers and fashion brands taking to the ramp to exhibit their best kidswear collection. Designers like Vikram Phadnis, Rocky S, Ritu Beri, Gauri & Nainika, Narendra Kumar, and Payal Singhal have used IKFW as a platform to exhibit their kidswear collections, while some of the leading fashion brands like Jabong, Max, Gap Kids, Barbie, Hot Wheels and more have been associated with IKFW in its earlier editions.

The event also saw some celebrities like Sushmita Sen, Karishma Kapoor, Genelia D'Souza, and Sohail Khan, along with child artistes like Harshaali Malhotra, Darsheel Safary and Avika Gor in its previous editions.
