Apart from Soman, the ramp saw some of India’s fittest achievers walk as showstoppers for the athleisure brand.

Mann Kaur, a 101 year old runner who hold the world record for 100 metres for her age category; Dolly Singh, a plus size yoga teacher who promotes body diversity and body positivity; Anshu Jensempa, world record holder who climbed Mt Everest twice within 5 days and V. Nanammal, a 98 year old yoga teacher, were some of the showstoppers for the designer.

"I believe the creative prowess of a designer coupled with a strong distribution system of a business house is a great combination for a success story. This is one such collaboration where two entities have come together to create a great product well suited for the Indian demographic. Our endeavour is to create an India which believes in being fitter inside out," said Nida Mahmood in a statement.
Milind Soman added, “As a brand Deivee offers clothes for all body types and with the launch of our running sari we now empower more women to get fit with their choice of silhouette."

The highlight of the collection was that it was made of 100 percent recycled plastic bottles. The sustainable leisure range also included the first-ever running sari, which ensures the collection is suitable for all Indian women across shapes, sizes and sensibilities.
