It is time for a new edition of the Mediterranean Fashion Prize, featuring this year a new selection method. For the sixth time, the Maison Méditerranéenne des Métiers de la Mode (Mediterranean house of fashion trades, MMMM) sets out to find ten designers to train and promote. The call for entries was issued recently, and the deadline is 26th February. The results will be released on 21st March.

This year, the MMMM's jury of professionals will not be alone in issuing a verdict. While it is possible to enter directly through MMMM's website, this year another way of entering was introduced, via the partner website Not Just A Label. The general public's vote on this platform, dedicated to discovering new fashion talents, will also be taken into account. The vote will be held on 9th March.

The winners will benefit from a full assessment by industry experts, and will take part in master classes, workshop visits and finally in a 6 months e-learning programme. In addition, the 2016 edition will be part of the biennial programme launched by MMMM and called #OpenMyMed, designed to shine the spotlight on both current and former winners.

Registration is open to designers working with their own brand for at least 2 years, and domiciled in one of the 19 Mediterranean countries listed below: Albania, Algeria, Cyprus, Croatia, France, Egypt, Spain, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Montenegro, the Principality of Monaco, Portugal, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey.
