Manav Gangwani to showcase 'India @ 70' with Disha Patani as showstopper at ICW

Manav Gangwani, one of India’s most creative and innovative designers, will showcase the best of India through his collection 'India @ 70' on day 2 of the India Couture Week (ICW) 2017 with model and Bollywood actress Disha Patani as the showstopper.

Actress Kangana Ranaut had walked the ramp for the designer at the 2016 edition of the India Couture Week.
 
"It gives me immense pleasure to announce that one of my dear friend and rising star of Bollywood, Disha Patani will be the showstopper for my show tonight," Gangwani said.

 Talking about his collection for the show, Gangwani said his range is called 'India @ 70,' which is an amalgamation of the rich heritage of India along with modern edgy elements that are incorporated in each garment."
 
"The inspiration for this collection from the atelier of Manav Gangwani (the brand) has been taken from various regions in India. I have incorporated elements of design from different regions like Kashmir-reflecting jamawar, bandhanis of Rajasthan and brocades of Varanasi," Gangwani said in a statement.
 
Manav Gangwani has styled a host of international and Bollywood celebrities like Sir Eric Clapton, Deepak Chopra, Jay Leno, Lewis Hamilton, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Oprah Winfrey, Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Peter Andre, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchcan and many more.
 
Manav will be the only couturier showcasing his collection on Tuesday night at ICW. The seven-day fashion extravaganza began on Monday with shows by veteran designers Anamika Khanna and Rohit Bal.
