As announced by FashionMag this 9 September, Maison Close has unveiled its first flagship.
Located in New York's SoHo neighbourhood, the store is a boudoir slash private salon serving as the French lingerie label's international showcase.
Established clientele and newcomers will find a sophisticated and refined decor that reflects the mysterious aura of the label, embodying the French spirit in an oh-so-New York setting.
"The Maison Close boutique will be an exceptional display for our twelve collections, from Villa Satine, La Cavalière, to Hôtel Diva or Villa Bel Ami, the latest one, all presented in their integrality for the first time," announced the brand’s founder and designer, Nicolas Busnel, aka Monsieur le Français.
Brick walls, subdued ceilings, dark hardwood flooring and tapestries that invite the visitor into another era.
The ambiance is welcoming but discreet, an Alice in Wonderland world for adults. Maison Close, launched in 2006 by Nicolas Busnel, has chosen a retro decor with benches, voluptuous rich purple curtains for the changing rooms and a grand inconspicuous chandelier.
This first flagship for the French lingerie brand brings together all of the universes it has to offer, from its subtle 'good girl' options to its fantasy 'let's play' offerings, but all done with class, which has thus far made it so successful.
Indeed, the house will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year.
Maison Close is currently present in 25 countries across 5 continents and can be found at 150 retailers.
