Lypsa Gems & Jewellery eyes Middle East, global e-commerce firms for growth

Lypsa Gems & Jewellery firm is looking to boost its presence across the Middle East with the launch of a diamond studded jewellery collection. Last month the company had received an order worth Rs 224 million from customers in UAE for the same.

Lypsa plans to strengthen its middle eastern business with added emphasis on building the wholesale jewellery business to allow higher margins, the company said in a statement.

The collection comprises of more than 100 designs with contemporary elements and boast of superior craftsmanship. Lypsa plans to use these designs as its USP showcase to enter new markets in the middle east hoping for get business from other wholesale and jewellery retailers in the region.

Lypsa is also planning to take its jewellery brands Atelier and Oropel global through partnerships with global e-commerce companies.

Lypsa brands Atelier and Oropel are currently available on leading Indian e-commerce firms like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Shopclues etc.
 
With Amazon and Alibaba backed Paytm investing heavily in the Indian e-commerce sector and giving sellers a platform to sell globally through their global seller’s program, Lypsa is likely to strike a deal with these e-commerce giants to fulfil its global aspirations.
 
Lypsa Gems & Jewellery Limited is a diamond company that is engaged in rough preparation, manufacturing of polished diamonds and trading of polished diamonds. Incorporated in 1995, the company is based in diamond city Surat.
