Indian luxury wear brand Mishru by Swapna Anumolu is banking on its unique designs to drive growth as it looks to tap into the growing bridal and ethnic wear market in India.

The Hyderabad based label is targeting the country’s free-spirited women, which forms the core of the brand’s loyal customer base.
 
Mishru, which started with a small design studio in Hyderabad, has managed to quickly spread its wings and build a strong customer base across leading metros in the country over a short span of time. The brand is looking to make further inroads in the luxury market by offering something different to stand out from the labels.

Speaking to FashionNetwork.com, Swapna Anumolu, Founder at Mishru said, “Mishru is a luxury brand catering to the free-spirited women of today who have a refined aesthetic and are open to experimenting with Indian wear. We want to fill the gap in the market by going against the flow and designing bridal wear for this segment of women.”
 
“What makes Mishru stand out is definitely our designs and aesthetic; the brand aims to carve a niche in the contemporary ethnic wear space with its fluid yet bold silhouettes in unexpected combinations”, Swapna added.
 
The brand is currently available at various multi-designer stores across the country like Aza (Mumbai and Delhi), Collage (Bangalore), Evoluzione (Chennai), Ensemble (Mumbai), Ashni + Co (London) among many others.
