Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Coppola, Gisele Bündchen, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and top model Edie Campbell (who opened the final catwalk by Marc Jacobs for Vuitton this season) make up the cast of the new ad campaign photographed by Steven Meisel. These portraits are meant to be a tribute the many muses of Marc Jacobs, who is passing the bar to Nicolas Ghesquière as creative director after 16 years of working with Vuitton.

The stars pose with a new Vuitton handbag, the NN14, which was presented in a myriad of variations at the label's spring-summer runway show. The model is available in two versions and is a small-scale reproduction of a bag ordered by a champagne producer in 1932 when Gaston-Louis Vuitton was in charge. The client was looking for "an elegant way to carry five bottles of the precious nectar," explained the fashion house.
