La Redoute confirms new UK CEO

La Redoute has promoted its Chief Financial Officer, Richard Burke, to CEO of La Redoute UK.

Burke succeeds Saida Gallouj, who is now Head of laredoute.com, and will report to Michael Truluck, CEO of La Redoute International. Burke started his career in warehouse operations around 20 years ago, and has been La Redoute's COO since 2012.

Michael Truluck, CEO of La Redoute International, comments: "Richard's progression in the retail environment, detailed knowledge of the business and his close involvement in the development of our current business strategy made him the ideal choice for the role."

Richard Burke, CEO of La Redoute UK, adds: "It's an exciting time for the brand and I'm hugely proud to be at the helm of La Redoute UK. In the short term my role is to ensure the business maintains its commercial success while making sure we have a strategy in place to sustain long term growth and profitability."
