"In the context of L'Oréal Luxe's strong growth in the past five years; an increasingly large portfolio of brands and many market opportunities, we have taken the decision to strengthen the organisation and this division," the cosmetics group said in a press release.

After joining L'Oréal in 1993, Cyril Chapuy has occupied various positions within the consumer division. Since 2010, he has been at the helm of L'Oréal Paris, the group's most commercially successful brand.

The luxury products division, which includes Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, Armani, Kiehl's and Urban Decay, is headed by Nicolas Hieronimus, President Selective Divisions (Luxury, Active Cosmetics, Professional Products, The Body Shop).
