"Carol's Daughter possesses an expertise in the multi-cultural consumer segment, a rapidly expanding market that represents important growth in the beauty industry," said Frédéric Roze, President of L’Oréal USA. "This acquisition will allow L’Oréal USA to build a new dedicated multi-cultural beauty division to strengthen the company's position in this dynamic market."

Created in 1993 by Lisa Price, Carol’s Daughter – with a revenue of 27 million dollars - proposes a range of products sold in specialized stores, in supermarkets, on an American shopping channel, on the Internet and in Carol’s Daughter shops in New York.

Carol’s Daughter's current management team runs the company from its head office in New York.
