Kochi to host Intimasia 2018 in March

Intimate Apparel Association of India (IAAI) will be organising ‘Intimasia 2018’ an exclusive fashion trade show of lingerie and intimate wear in March in the southern city of Kochi.

The three-day show scheduled to start of March 8 will give an opportunity to brands and retailers from across the country to showcase their products such as lingerie (basic & fashion), men’s’ innerwear, kids innerwear, sleepwear, loungewear, shapewear, maternity wear, swimwear, active wear and socks at the trade event.

Commenting on the trade show, Yusuf Dohawala CEO for Intimate Apparel Association of India (IAAI) in a statement said, “Intimasia is set to bring a revolution in the intimate wear sector of India which has been a hidden industry. For those who don’t know much, Intimate Apparel Industry is the fastest growing segment of the textile and apparel industry having a constant growth of over 15% for last 10 years and providing direct employment to over 60 lakhs. Intimasia will further accelerate the growth by helping the industry to get organised.”

“It will bring together emerging and established Indian and International intimate wear brands, retail giants, trade partners, potential business investors considering venturing into intimate wear industry,” he added.

Intimasia 2018 show is expected to feature fashion students, lingerie designers, fashion stylists, lingerie models, bloggers and others from the industry.
