Kaya by Marico has launched a new line of haircare products designed to target several concerns specific to its South Asian customers. The products address hair-fall, dandruff, and volume.

The new line of haircare products from Kaya sees the skincare brand significantly expand its focus on hair. The line is designed to address three main issues Indians have with their hair, namely hair-fall, dandruff, and volume.

The “Kaya Root Regen Range” is designed to target and reverse hair-fall by working with the hair root itself. The products are designed as a regime and to be bought as a set. The range has four products: an oil, shampoo, mask, and serum and they are all paraben-free and include natural moisturisers and anti-oxidants.

The “Kaya Vital Volume Range” is designed to make hair more voluminous by using natural ingredients such as rice-protein and comprises an oil, shampoo, and a mask. The final line, the “Kaya Dandruff Control Range”, includes four products designed to deep clean and nourish the scalp to prevent dandruff. The line comprises a lotion, shampoo, mask, and elixir.

Kaya was launched in December 2002 by Marico as a skin clinic tailored to Indian skin and India-specific skin ailments. Today, there are over 100 Kaya Skin Clinics spread over 26 Indian cities as well as 19 in the Middle East and 16 Kaya Skin Bars. In 2010, Kaya acquired DRx Clinic which has three centres across Singapore and Malaysia. The brand also retails its products through its network of clinics.
