Kalyani Chawla launches new Rezon line

After launching Lulu & Sky, Kalyani Chawla has launched a silverware company called Rezon that features both contemporary and traditional designs and is exhibiting in New Delhi.

Rezon's silverware collection is being exhibited in New Delhi from August 31 to September 1 - Rezon

As the holiday season approaches, Chawla has just launched a range of silverware for her new company Rezon that is being displayed from August 31 to September 1 in the Library Lounge in the Lodhi Hotel in New Delhi. The new label specialises in enamelling on sterling silver but also has copper as a base metal on some items to allow for cheaper price points.

Many pieces in Rezon’s first collection are heavily inspired by Art Deco and feature enamelling in bright hues. Floral motifs also adorn many of the items in the form of large 3D flowers or small engravings. There are both minimalist and extravagant items in the form of accessories and homeware items such as tea sets, jewellery boxes, candle holders, and lighting fixtures.

Chawla chose to give her new brand a strong sustainable focus and ensured that her items are made with environmentally friendly procedures. The brand is being marketed for gifting, both personal and corporate, and, as Chawla herself has previously worked in corporate gifting, many of Rezon’s items have been carefully designed and priced for this purpose.
