Jabong witnesses 150 percent growth for its Big Brand Sale

India’s leading online retailer Jabong witnessed a 150 percent growth during the fourth edition of its recently concluded Big Brand Sale event.

BBS became Jabong’s biggest sale event in terms of numbers as over 7 lakh customers ordered over 2 million products during the four-day sale event. The etailer managed to acquire 2 lakh new customers during BBS.
 
Commenting on the success of BBS, Ananth Narayanan, CEO, Myntra-Jabong in a statement said, “The 4th edition of BBS has been the biggest and most exciting ever for us.  We witnessed a whopping growth of 150% YoY with over 2 lakh new customers and 5 lakh loyal Jabong customers ordering 2 million products over 4 days.”

Gunjan Soni, Head of Jabong added, “We witnessed a spectacular growth with 10X sales over a normal day. The premium nature of the event came through with more than 40% sales coming from global brands and higher ASP items. Several innovations and differentiated 360 marketing helped us acquire new customers and attract 3X traffic across platforms as compared to a normal day.”
 
The Jabong Big Brand Sale is the brand’s flagship sale which is held twice a year (January and July) to mark the end of the season.
