Italian brand Ylati enters Indian market with Superkicks India

Italian sneaker brand Ylati has partnered with Superkicks India for its foray into the Indian market and will bring its range of luxury sneakers to the country.

Ylati expects good sales from India, which it feels is a promising market with a lot of potential for growth. The brand will retail through Superkicks stores in India.
 
“The Indian consumer market has a lot of potential and is very promising. Being home to a diverse audience there is something for everyone it has to offer. Thus we bring in our range of luxury sneakers that are designed with premium hand-crafted leather with an artisan approach, keeping in mind style, sophistication and comfort,” Luca Martino was quoted as saying by IANS.

Sangeet Paryani, founder of Superkicks India, is also optimistic about its association with the brand and feels the growth in footwear industry will help generate better sales.
 
“Recently we have seen a rise in fashion conscious consumers that are demanding high quality products that are voguish in a certain manner. There is an increase in the significance of footwear and pairing it with your everyday wardrobe which is leading to an upsurge in the demand of footwear day by day. This is, thus, leading to better growth prospects of footwear industry,” said Sangeet.
 
Ylati was founded in 2010 in Italy and will offer luxury sneakers in India at a starting price of Rs 13000 (approx $200). The brand is already a local celebrity favourite having been worn by Bollywood actors such as Ranbir Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi and Sushant Singh Rajput.
