Interparfums, the maker and distributor of licensed perfume, and luxury group Montblanc have announced the extension of their partnership until the end of 2025.

According to a joint press release, "both companies have decided, before the end of their current license agreement, to extend their partnership for 5 more years, that is until 2025. [...] A new 10-year license agreement will start on January 1st, 2016, without significant alteration of the license's conditions."

This new contract "will increase our long-term visibility, in particular with the expected development of a new offer for feminine perfume", added Philippe Benacin, CEO of Interparfums.

In 2010, the two companies had signed a 10-year worldwide license agreement for the design, manufacturing and distribution of perfume and related products under the Montblanc brand. This partnership has proved to be a genuine success for the two partners, as Montblanc's perfume sales rose fourfold over the past 4 years, and now exceed 80 million euros.
