On April 26, 85 Lansdowne launched its first collaboration with Indrani Dasgupta, the “Summer Edit” multi-brand collection. The collection features a range of established and up and coming clothing designers including Dev R Nil, Pinki Sinha, and Varsha Wadhwa. Accessories also feature from designers such as Love To Bag By Ayushi and Duet By Priyanka Baid as does jewellery by Vasundhara Mantri and shoes by Rohan Arora.

Dasgupta told Vogue India that her first collaboration with 85 Lansdowne was “an idea to curate an eclectic mix of easy separates, bags, shoes and accessories to create our own summer story of smart and inspiring collectibles.” The collaboration sees Dasgupta move into curation and the boutique join forces with a fashion celebrity.

85 Lansdowne was opened in Kolkata in April 2006 by Shalini Nopany and Pooja Goenka. The multi-brand boutique houses around 45 Indian designer brands and retails traditional, fusion, and western wear. The 5,000 square foot store is located within a 75 year old Bengali Baari and its design reflects the traditional style of the building.
