Indian labels to show at Hong Kong fashion week as Pakistan makes its debut

The 24th HKTDC Hong Kong fashion week is currently taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 10th to 13th July and Indian and Pakistani labels form part of the trade exhibition.



Hong Kong fashion week is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and is currently hosting over 1,000 exhibitors from 19 different countries over four days. Approximately 17,000 visitors are expected to attend the event. The fair will include five pavilions, each dedicated to a different country. The countries featured will include India and Pakistan, which is making its debut at the fair this year.

Among the many Indian exhibitors are R.K. Textiles, the Apparel Export Promotion Council, Intercity Traders Pvt Ltd, and India Connection Impex Pvt Ltd. Pakistani exhibitors will include Softwood Pvt Ltd and Forta Industries Pvt Ltd. and the region is further represented by Nepali exhibitors which include United Fashion Knitting Industries Pvt Ltd and Himalayan Cotton and Fashion International Pvt Ltd.

India was represented in the Buyer Forum “Opportunities in Asian and Australian Markets” that took place on the 10th by Prashant Bhatia of Cambridge Apparels, Mumbai. An international fashion show will also be held on each day of the event in the Style Stadium. Along with fashion, the event will also feature lifestyle and homeware products. Entry to the fair is free and the audience is trade only.
