The brand, which launched only two years ago, specialises in men’s shirts and smart casual wear and is positioned in the value and high-street section of the market. At the upcoming Garment Expo in the brand’s hometown of Indore, the brand will partner with a number of wholesalers and distributors in order to roll out its franchise plan.

Although the brand is planning to unveil their franchise model next week, it is already searching for franchise wholesalers and distributors. With adverts on its social media sites including Facebook, Indian Threads hopes to attract a large number of franchise partners to allow it to expand nationwide.

After launching in 2015, Indian Threads now reports total sales of 6,000 shirts a month. The brand claims to be growing at 200 percent a year as well as having already turned profitable. With an e-commerce store that receives around 1,500 hits a day and with two percent of visitors purchasing something, the brand is looking to capitalise on this traction by also seeking more online partnerships.
