India Runway Week to be held at New Delhi in April

India Runway Week (IRW) is back with its tenth edition and will be held in the capital city New Delhi from April 20 to 22. Leading Indian and international designers are expected to participate in the three day event in Saket.

The season nine, winter festive edition of India Runway Week was held in October last year and opened by renowned designer James Ferreira. The event saw participation from designers from the Indian sub-continent with Bollywood actors walking the ramp as showstoppers.
 
The show is organised by the Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD) and this season will focus on looks and trends for summer.

Commenting on this year’s event Kiran Kheva, The Head of Fashion, India Runway Week, in a statement said "the event is expected to be much bigger and push every boundary of fashion and what fashion can achieve."
 
IRW helps both established and upcoming talented designers, models to make inroads into the fashion industry. It also gives them excellent business opportunities from both bulk and retail buyers. The event facilitates the exchange of ideas and networking interactions between designers, buyers and affiliates.
