Imaima to launch F/W 18, S/S 18 collections

Imaima, a fashion label by Indo-German duo Sajal Dewan and Bahhareh Karimi will launch its exclusive AW17 and SS18 collections which will be available in both Asian and European markets.

The collections will showcase exclusive designs using rich fabrics and silhouettes to cater to fashion markets across the globe.
 
The designer duo have drawn their inspirations from the traditional art of weaving designs using bright hues and rich materials keeping in line with fashion trends and tastes for this collection. The prêt-a-porter collection will have an Indian touch with traditional art of hand embroidery with modern designs.

"Our passion for designing and my creativity led to the creation of IMAIMA where we could work around traditional arts as the staple and build modern designs around it. With our forthcoming collections lined up we are sure to leave people craving for more of our designs", Bahhareh Karimi told Fashion Network.
 
Imaima extensively uses natural and hand-woven fabrics and incorporates ethical practices in its manufacturing, keeping the entire process transparent.
 
The designs are made with intricate motifs in thread and beadwork  on limited edition pieces. The colors are soft and the fabrics give a natural sheen to the garments.
 
Imaima currently retails through boutiques and online botiques in India and Germany. The brand is available on several fashion e-commerce platforms like Tictail, Ivanzi and Kraftly besides its own portal iimaima.com and is in the process of adding more prominent upscale online websites across Europe and Asia.
 
The brand is also looking to experiment with the brick and mortar model, opening some exclusive stores in the near future.
