DeFabio joins Iconix from Ralph Lauren, where she most recently served as SVP of Business Development and Licensing. In this role, she managed all licensed product categories, including contract terms and negotiations, revenue growth targets, and identification and cultivation of new partners, categories and geographies.

Prior to joining Ralph Lauren, she held senior management positions at Macy’s and May Department Stores.

"We are thrilled to welcome June to Iconix,” said John Haugh, Chief Executive Officer of Iconix. "With our focus on organic growth, June will be instrumental in developing new opportunities for our brands as we evolve the business."

Iconix currently owns, licenses and markets Rocawear, Ecko Unltd., London Fog, Mossimo, Starter, and Joe Boxer among other brands, and in July sold its entertainment segment, including the Peanuts and Strawberry Shortcake brands, to DHX Media for $345 million in cash. The company also acquired the remaining 50% interest in the Iconix Canada joint venture for $19 million.
