Hyderabad gears up for Kid's Fashion Week

Gavins Fashion Week will run as part of the tenth edition of the Hyderabad Kid’s Fair from December 22 to 25 and preparations are underway for the children’s fashion showcase.

From December 9 to 10, Gavins held auditions to search for models for their upcoming fashion week. The auditions were held at Sujatha High School in Hyderabad and the search was on for models aged four to 14 years old. Those chosen will walk the runway at Gavins Fashion Week at the end of the month.

Gavins Fashion Week is set to take place at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad as part of the Hyderabad Kid's Fair that will run at the same time. Other events on the fair’s program include a run and music concerts. The event will showcase a variety of children’s wear fashion from designers both local and from across India.

The last Hyderabad Kids Fair took place at the beginning of June this year and the upcoming edition will be the tenth so far. The children’s wear section of the clothing market in India is steadily expanding and the continuation of this Kid's Fashion Weeks only serves to illustrate this.

The official list of brands involved in the fashion week has not yet been released and applications are still open. Some previous exhibitors include Three Coins Jewels, Juss Kurties, Shravya Imitation Jewellery, Om Sai Narayan Clothing, and Durga Collections.
