Haute Hippie: Robert Feinberg appointed President

Haute Hippie, a brand known for its fashion forward designs, has announced apparel industry veteran Robert Feinberg as its new president, according to a company press release.

Feiberg brings over 35 years of apparel expertise and has built brands at Gillian and AJ Bari. He has served as the CEO of Kay Unger New York for more than 20 years. He is known for his entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative management style. Feinberg said, “I am thrilled and excited about the opportunity to continue building this iconic brand within the contemporary fashion segment of the market.”

The brand was acquired by an investor group comprised of Hilco Global, luxury distributor Madaluxe, and strategic brand licensing expert Earthbound late last year.

Cady Vacarro, creative director, Haute Hippie, said, “I am excited to have Rob join me at such an important and creative time for the Haute Hippie brand.”

Currently the label is sold in over 50 countries globally and featured in department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Harvey Nichols.
