H&M expands presence in NCR region, adds store in Ghaziabad

Swedish fast fashion brand Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) has expand its presence in the National Capital Region (NCR) by adding its sixth store in the city of Ghaziabad.
 


H&M’s new store is spread across two floors over 21,000 sq ft and located at the Red Mall of Ghaziabad. It will offer women’s, men’s, teenagers and children’s apparels, accessories, footwear and lingerie.
 
The brand has witnessed a huge surge in sales in India clocking sales of Rs 703 crore during the December 2016 and August 2017 from its 17 stores across the country, up from Rs 291 crore in the year-ago period, as per the company's nine-month report for the period from December 2016 and August 2017.

As part of their expansion plans the brand is foraying into newer markets and targeting the tier 1 & tier II markets for future growth.

H&M currently has online stores in 41 countries and a total of 4,135 H&M stores across the globe. The company is rapidly expanding its presence in India and is likely to add 5 more stores this year.

H&M’s other stores at the Delhi NCR are located at Select City Walk – Saket, Ambience Mall Gurgaon, Vasant Kunj, Mall of India – Noida and Connaught Place.
