Mr Porter, the global online destination for men’s style, has unveiled an exclusive collaboration with Gucci which will see a 43-piece capsule collection launch on the platform next month.

Launching on May 18th, the collection spansready-to-wear, shoes and accessories - Mr Porter

Designed under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, the collection is inspired by urbanism and self-expression and anchored in classic tailoring silhouettes and eccentric sportswear.

The range will include ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories, with Gucci’s iconic animal motifs such the bee, the tiger, the skeleton and the cat taking centre stage. Stand out pieces include a fil coupé shirt in lilac, a crewneck sweater with a wool jacquard bee design and a blueberry-coloured technical jersey zip-up jacket with paisley print and an embroidered tiger.

All ready-to-wear pieces will come with a yellow Gucci label, unique to this exclusive capsule collection.

In addition to apparel, the Mr Porter x Gucci collection will include small accessories such as leather bracelets, cufflinks, ties, watches and scarves.

The collaboration comes a year after Alessandro Michele designed a capsule collection for Mr Porter’s sister womenswear site Net-A-Porter.

"We are the thrilled to partner with Gucci on this exclusive project, at a time when the House is so vibrant and influential in its designs. Alessandro and his team's talents truly shine through with this unique capsule collection of iconic pieces, all of which we're sure will be an instant success with our global customer," said Mr Porter managing director Toby Bateman.

"We are pleased to build on the success of our exclusive capsule collection for Net-a-Porter last year with a new capsule this time for Mr Porter, whose clients are unquestionably some of the most knowledgeable and sophisticated menswear fashion consumers in the marketplace," added Gucci CEO and president Marco Bizzarri.

The collection is scheduled to launch on May 18th with prices ranging from £140 to £2,030 ($200 to $3,350).
