Giordano eyes sizeable market in India with Brandzstorm India Marketing

Hong Kong-based Giordano International Limited has signed a long term exclusive master licensing agreement with Brandzstorm India Marketing and is eyeing a sizeable market share of the Indian market.

The agreement gives Brandzstorm India Marketing the exclusive rights to manufacture, distribute and retail Giordano apparel, footwear & accessories in India.
 
Mark Loynd, Executive Director, Giordano International Limited, in a statement said, “The partnership between the two companies will allow us capture a sizeable market share in the region. We recognised India’s potential over a decade ago. Although we successfully operate in many mature markets, India is particularly exciting as it offers significant growth opportunities.

Brandzstorm will be partnering with multi-brand boutiques, retail outlets and e-commerce firms for the expansion of Giordano across India. Brandzstorm also plans to open 5 exclusive Giordano boutiques in leading metro cities over the next three years.
 
Ujjval Saraf, Managing Director, Brandzstorm India Marketing Pvt Ltd, added, “We are honored to be Giordano’s new brand licensee for apparel, footwear, travel gear and accessories in India. The Indian market has over the years witnessed a surge in demand for International fashion labels and we see substantial potential here. Brandzstorm plans to open five flagship Giordano boutiques in major metros within the next three years.”
 
Giordano is a leading global apparel retailer with over 2,400 boutiques operating in over 30 territories worldwide.

Brandzstorm India is based in Mumbai and also has licensing arrangements with Swiss Eagle, Gio Collection, Pierre Cardin, Steve Madden, Superdry, Cross, Lamborghini, Fjord, Nuband, Elle and Furla.
