Forevermark CEO Stephen Lussier said that India is an important market for the company as it contributes 15-20% of the global market share more than USA and currently only behind China.

Stephen Lussier, CEO Forevermark, in a statement said, “This year we inscribed the two millionth Forevermark diamond at our lab in Surat which is a true testament of our growth in India.

The diamond Lussier was referring to was a round brilliant-cut, 3.48-carat polished stone found in Namibia. The stone is currently being set into jewelry for Forevermark’s red-carpet collection at the company’s design Centre in Milan, Italy.

Lussier further shared his insights by stating that the diamond market has recovered from the demonetisation blues and felt that under GST & digital revolution in the country the company will continue to grow further.

Sachin Jain, President, Forevermark India, stated, “The Forevermark Forum has emerged as the premier platform to stay connected and be informed in the world of diamonds today. Jewellers for whom the diamond business is important and significant, look forward to it as an event as it helps them leverage their business.”

Jain also said that the company is planning to launch the country’s second exclusive store in Kolkata later this year.

Forevermark’s recently launched Zanyah collection by master couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee and the Artemis extension line by designer Bibhu Mohapatra were on display at the forum along with over 30,000 Forevermark diamonds and 1500 designs.

The 2017 Forevermark Forum was attended by leading jewellers C Krishniah Chetty & Sons, Hazoorilal, Joyalukkas, Mahesh Notandass, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Senco Gold & Diamonds, TBZ - The Original and Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers.
