Forever 21 opens first Indore store

Forever 21 have opened their first store in Indore at the C21 Mall bringing their total store count in India to 21.

The American high street brand opened its doors to Indore on Friday December 8 and a sizeable crowd of shoppers had gathered from the early morning to be the first ones able to shop the new store. When the red tape was cut, the shoppers surged in and, over the course of the store’s first weekend, it has been constantly busy.

“It’s a moment of great joy as we launch our 21st store in the country. Indore is a potential market and we are excited to begin our new innings here,” said Rahul Jhamb, Forever 21 India’s Brand Head.

“At Forever 21, we aspire to make fashion accessible to fashion conscious youngsters, by introducing different styles every week. Our Holiday collection, inspired by global runway trends, is now available across all our stores, to make our fashionistas look and feel amazing during vacations and the New Year,” Jhamb elaborated.

Forever 21’s new Indore store is spread over 9,000 square feet in the C21 Mall. The store houses Forever 21’s main womenswear line as well as footwear, accessories, the brand’s lingerie line, and their 21Men line for men.

The brand first entered into a partnership with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd in 2016 and since then has opened several more stores and focused on metropolitan cities. Forever 21 is showing no signs of slowing down as it expands across India and the brand aims to continue this fast paced expansion next year.
