Facebook appoints Pulkit Trivedi as industry director to head e-commerce

 Facebook has appointed Pulkit Trivedi as industry director for e-commerce, retail, travel and financial services verticals, to lead building and maintaining of strategic relationships with clients in India.
 

Trivedi, joins Facebook from Google India, where he was head of industry, e-commerce since April 2012. He has 18 years experience and has worked with Microsoft, IBM and HCL in the past.

Pulkit is a well proven business professional who along with our teams will strengthen our ability to deliver personalized marketing at scale to clients in India," said Umang Bedi, managing director, Facebook India.

Trivedi has an MBA from BITS Mesra and was featured in the “Hottest Young Business Leaders under 40” in India list by Business Today in 2015.
