“Our intent is to position the brand as the most preferred work wear brand for Indian women domestically and globally,” Ayushi Gudwani wrote for Indian Retailer. “We have witnessed lucrative growth of business and we hope to continue growing at the same pace.”

FableStreet mainly retails from its dedicated e-commerce store but is currently working on securing tie-ups with several large multi-brand e-commerce platforms to increase its reach. Gudwani is also planning to hold pop-up shopping events across India for the brand and is planning to eventually launch shop-in-shops for the brand.

The brand launched its first capsule collection in collaboration with NanditaBasu and, following the collection’s positive response, FableStreet now intends on expanding its product selection. Next will come accessories and other workwear related items.

The brand, which offers made to measure options for its workwear, aims to take “made to measure” into the organised sector of the Indian fashion industry. Launched two years ago, FableStreet has tapped into the growing demographic of Indian female professionals.
