Ethnic wear brand Jashn opens new store in Mumbai, eyes ‘incredible growth’ with expansion

Indian ethnic wear brand Jashn recently opened its concept pret line store in Mumbai with an aim to sell its ready to wear lines exclusively under one roof, with plans to replicate the model across the country. The store was inaugurated by actors Zoya Afroz & Manasi Moghe.

Jashn, eyeing incredible growth, plans to add around 50 stores by the end of 2018, which will be a mix of exclusive brand outlets & franchise stores.
 
Rahul Jashnani, Managing Director, Jashn in a statement said commented, ‘‘The new Jashn – Pret concept store at Mumbai is the first of its kind for the brand and it’s with this launch the brand starts its all new exclusively ready – to – wear line stores and also its franchising vertical”. 
 
“We will take this expansion to around 50 stores by the next calendar year. This launch assures me of our incredible growth and the journey we undertook to reach these avenues today.”
 
The 400 sq feet store in located at Mumbai’s Lokhandwala market and will have the brand’s signature women’s ethnic collection that includes dresses, tunics, kurtis, skirts, salwar sameez and gowns, read a statement. The latest designer fall winter collection with also be available at the store.
 
Ethnic wear brands in India off late have been expanding aggressively to expand their base in the country’s ethnic wear market which is currently estimated at Rs 54,425 crore (USD 10.26 billion), according to a report by consulting firm Technopak.
 
Manyavar-Mohey, Biba, Neeru are some of the leading players in the ethnic wear market in India.

Jashn which entered the market in 2003 currently has around 126 stores with 64 brand outlets, 60 Shop in Shop spread across 34 cities. The brand is also available on leading e-commerce websites like Myntra, Jabong.com, AJio, Amazon.in among others.
