The sales comprised 100 tonnes of Giza 88, 150 tonnes of Giza 70 and 205 tonnes of Giza 86, an official from Alcotexa told Reuters.

The new commitment brings Alcotexa's export commitments for the 2008/2009 season, which began in September, to 23,062 tonnes of cotton worth $58.57 million, the official said.
