With 80% of its turnover generated by exports, Didier Parakian clearly isn’t lacking in international scope. Nevertheless, the brand from Marseilles hasn’t slowed down in its efforts to consolidate its core markets and to expand into new ones, endeavoring to diversify in order to resist the brunt of possible regional crises.

While Didier Parakian has thus far been present in West Europe, of course, as well as in the Middle East and in parts of Eastern Europe, the brand has also established itself in Asia over the past few years. It now plans to open five new stores in China in 2015, bringing the tally into the forties, and has just signed a new exclusive partnership in South Korea.

Parakian Didier is partnering with the company Lotte in order to enter the market this year. Together with the department store and shopping centers owner, the French label intends to develop rapidly with stores or shop-in-shops. It will aim for a turnover of 7 million euros for the first year.

The brand also announced that North America is now in its "crosshairs", with potential announcements for this year as well.
