Delhi's Rent It Bae to launch in 11 new cities

​New Delhi-based fashion service Rent It Bae announced on December 29 that they have taken their business to ten new cities to cover the country’s major metros.

The fashion rental service, Rent It Bae, has expanded from their home base in the Delhi- NCR region (Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Noida) to cover Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Indore. The New Dehli business, which launched in August 2016, reported that they now cover the country’s major metros. However, the same day delivery trials offered in the Delhi- NCR region are not yet available in these cities.

"India is a strong market for rentals, especially in cities like Chandigarh and Ludhiana where people are susceptible to rental clothing. The myriad of queries from these cities and success here, led to the expansion in other markets within a period of one-year of our launch," said co-Founder and CEO, Aanchal Saini.

Rent It Bae allows customers to rent designer clothing for four days or more for between ten and 15 percent of the garment’s retail price. Some of the brands that the business offers for rental include high end labels such as Anita Dongre, Tarun Tahiliani, and Ritu Kumar.

A monthly fashion subscription service is also available where customers can pay a fee once a month to access an array of rental clothing.
