Da Milano launches budget accessories line Wooba

The high end accessories brand Da Milano has launched an affordably priced line, Wooba. Gurgaon’s Ambience Mall was chosen as the first location for their store opening.

The recently launched Wooba is described  by the company as a contemporary leather accessories brand that appeals to the budget customer. With its new accessibly-priced line, Da Milano is hoping to extend the range of its target demographic.

Like Da Milano, Wooba has a “California” aesthetic and stocks bags for both men and women as well as luggage and other accessories. Wooba’s new store in Gurgaon measures 800 square feet and the brand plans to open in all other major metros, although they have not yet specified a time frame for this. Stores are also planned for some non-metro locations, depending on brand performance.

At the launch party for the Gurgaon store, the House of Da Milano’s Managing Director, Sahil Malik, announced that Wooba is a mass orientated label that aims to mix fashion with price sensitivity. Malik also said that Wooba will be retailed only through exclusive brand outlets for the time being.
