Coty hires Revlon's EVP R&D Daniel Ramos as Chief Scientific Officer

Coty announced on Friday the appointment of Daniel Ramos as Chief Scientific Officer, effective September 15, 2017. He will report directly to CEO Camillo Pane, and will be a member of the company’s Executive Committee.

Daniel Ramos’ experience in the consumer goods industry includes health, beauty & grooming, fragrance and cosmetics categories. He succeeds Ralph Macchio, who parted ways with the company after 25 years on June 30, 2017.
 
Ramos previously served as Chief Science Officer and EVP R&D at Revlon. He started his R&D career at P&G, first in Venezuela and then in the US and Japan. He worked 11 years in roles of increasing responsibility, before joining RB plc where he was VP R&D Health Care and a part of the R&D global leadership team.

In addition, he will be located in Coty’s R&D center of global excellence in Morris Plains, NJ.
