After foraying into rotary printing three months ago, Color n Style has announced that it aims to expand into this market as rotary printing proves more profitable for the business than digital.

Color n Style moves its focus towards rotary printing and plans a four crore rupees expansion - Imprima

Color n Style is a printing and processing house based in Noida and its current rotary printing capacity since it launched the facility three months ago is 30,000 metres of fabric a day. The company announced that it plans to invest four crore rupees (approximately 0.6 million dollars) in further expanding its rotary printing capacity as its digital printing is put on the back burner and the current capacity will continue to remain low at 2,000 metres a day.

Girish Wason, the company’s Director, said: “We are planning to enhance our rotary printing capacity by next year. We are expecting the coming season from September to March to remain well, and if things move according to our plans, we will surely further expand our capacity.” Rotary printing has strong profit prospects for the business as larger orders for the domestic market are increasing. However, digital printing jobs tend to be smaller and thus more expensive for the business, also due to higher material costs.

The domestic market is becoming a greater profit maker for the company now and so it is rotary printing for the domestic market that Color n Style will focus on.
