This autumn will see the opening of two initial stores in Delhi, located in Ambience Mall Gurgaon and Select City Walk Saket. They will be followed by a third store in Mumbai’s Grand Galleria shopping centre, with further openings planned for the next few years.

“We believe our affordable, fun, British, vintage-inspired clothes, bags, childrenswear and homeware will appeal to people in India of all ages, “said Cath Kidston CEO, Kenny Wilson.

“We do a lot of homework before we enter a new market and we already know from the growing online sales that people in India like our products. From this, we think that India could potentially become a very successful and important market for us,” he added.

This year, Cath Kidston is planning to increase its global presence with further store openings in Japan and the Middle East. Known as the “home of modern vintage”, the brand offers a range of products from accessories and womenswear to childrenswear and home furnishings.

Currently, Cath Kidston has a physical presence in 18 countries.
