BrushUp by Vanshika Beauty & MakeUp Institute to expand in Delhi, North India

The makeup academy BrushUp by Vanshika Beauty & MakeUp Institute plans to expand with several more centres in Delhi NCR and the north of the country, followed by other parts of India.

“With the first fully stabilised center, plans are underway to open couple of more centers in Delhi and NCR and increase our footprint to entire North India, followed by the other parts of India,” Vanshika Chawla told Salon International about her expansion plans.

Vanshika Chawla launched BrushUp by Vanshika Beauty & MakeUp Institute in 2016 to create a makeup academy to train India’s new generation of makeup artists. As the makeup industry continues to grow rapidly in India and spread from metros to Tier 3 cities, there is more interest than ever in learning about the industry and the craft. This is shown by Chawla’s ambitious expansion plans for her institute.

The Delhi NCR (Gurgaon) academy currently has a 1,000 square-foot campus and offers a variety of courses ranging from three to ten weeks long. Courses include short courses, professional makeup courses, and self-makeup courses.

All courses offer a certificate on completion and prices range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 85,000.

Chawla is trained as an educator under the City & Guilds, London (UK) and has extensive experience working as a professional makeup artist. With these institutes, Chawla aims to bring international standard makeup education to India.
