Brand Factory currently has 69 outlets across the country and will be expanding in cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, and South India to reach store count of 100 ahead of the upcoming festive season. It is also expanding its portfolio to offer new categories to customers.

“Brand Factory wants to reach a store count of 100 in the next three months from the existing 69 outlets,” Suresh Sadhwani, CEO of Brand Factory was quoted as saying by the Economic Times.

"We have started expanding to more categories like luggage, footwear, handbags, sunglasses etc. More than 80 percent of our sales come from apparel categories but we believe that in a year’s time our sales from non-apparel can reach around 30 percent," said Sadhwani.

The brand has also launched a campaign ‘Unbranded to Branded’ to boost sales and expand its customer base across all its 69 outlets. The campaign allows customers to exchange their unbranded clothes in exchange of discount vouchers which can be redeemed at Brand Factor outlets.

During the three week long campaign, Brand Factory is expecting to clock Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) of Rs 500 crore (approx $73.6 million).

"In the first two weeks of the campaign, we have generated a GMV of Rs 350 crores. We are confident that by the end of the third week when we conclude this campaign, we will cross Rs 500 crore GMV mark," Sadhwani said on the campaign.
