Blossom Premiere Vision, a show dedicated to first collections and designed for creative, luxury, and high-end fashion brands, held on July 4 and 5, 2017, recorded a 23 per cent increase in visitors this year. The show hosted offers from around 90 international exhibitors from all over the fashion industry.

Around 62 weavers, 22 tanners, and 5 accessory and component manufacturers, displayed their products. Over two days, Blossom Première Vision welcomed 1,058 visitors from fashion and luxury houses, who came to discover and source new product developments and fabric and colour innovations to build their pre-collections.

The number of visitors brought together French fashion houses (80 per cent of visitors), as well as a growing percentage of international brands (20 per cent). Following France, Italy had the 2nd largest number of visitors, with attendance up by 3.5 per cent over July 2016. In 3rd place, visitors from the United Kingdom also saw a strong increase (26 per cent), while the United States (4th) and Belgium (5th) - both particularly important in terms of creative fashion - each showed a stable presence.

Guglielmo Olearo, show director said, “Precollections are most definitely a creative period on their own, independent of the international catwalk shows. They are of major importance to the luxury brands, to which Blossom Première Vision has responded with this custom offer, in a timeframe that’s complementary to the Première Vision Paris shows.”
