The men’s formal wear brand Blackberrys has two subsidiary brands: Urban, which specialises in denim apparel, and Casual, which specialises in Khakis and will be launching soon. The three brands will all undergo a revamp in order to refresh their image and keep up with the current retail landscape.

The Bengaluru based design agency, Four Dimensions Retail Design is currently working on the brand’s refresh. The brand’s current black colour scheme will be updated and changed to one featuring mostly browns and light beiges. A new brand logo is also in the works along with new brand fonts and navigation and fixtures for online.

The group is aiming to open a number of brick and mortar retail outlets for its three brands by the end of the current fiscal year. The first store opening for the Casual brand is planned for Kochi at Lulu Mall. The Urban store at Bengaluru’s Garuda Mall will also be revamped and re-opened next month to showcase the new brand identity.

Blackberrys reported revenue totalling 720 crore rupees (approximately 108.2 million US dollars) for the past financial year. The company has stated that it intends to open around 70 more stores during this financial year.
