After opening its first stores in Pune and Jabalpur, Blackberrys Urban aims to open more than 25 more stores by the end of this fiscal year. Ramesh Kaushik, Blackberrys Urban’s Marketing Head, stated that the stores will be opened on a franchise model but that some exclusive company-owned stores are also planned. Moreover, whilst the plan is to open in larger cities, the main focus of Urban’s expansion will be on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities such as Jaipur and Raipur. The non-franchise flagship stores will be in Tier 1 cities and the size will range from 600 to 800 square feet.

Urban focuses on denim knits, shorts, accessories, t-shirts, jackets, and accessories among others and prices range from around 1000 rupees to around 6000 rupees. These items will be available in the current and upcoming brick and mortar stores as well as online on e-commerce stores such as Myntra, Jabong, and Amazon.

"We are targeting a 100 percent growth in revenue from the newly launched brand,” Kaushik stated, expressing the hope that Urban will help Blackberrys to grow as a whole.
