At the next session of Première Vision in September, the Parisian textile trade show will host the 5th edition of the PV Awards. The jury - made up of a selection of industry professionals – will this year be headed by Berluti artistic director and ex-Z Zegna man, Alessandro Sartori.

Supporting him in jury duty is Brazilian designer Victor Dzenk, Façonnable’s development director Serge Cohen and head of design at Adidas Sport Performance, Kathryn O’Brien. Also on the jury are Bertrand Maréchal, professor at the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design in Geneva, Sandrine Merle of the French publication Echos and last year’s winner Satu Maareanen. The show’s fashion director Pascaline Wilhelm will also cast her vote.

Four textile designers will be rewarded for the work at the awards, with one walking away with the Grand Prix, selected by the jury. The Handle Prize, Innovation Prize and Imagination Prize will also be awarded for excellence in textiles.

Previous panelists on the PV Awards jury include Lacoste artistic director Felipe Oliveira Baptista, French designer Roland Louret, Costume National founder Ennio Capasa and artistic director of menswear at Hermès, Véronique Nichanian.
