Berluti Paris enters Indian market with store in Delhi

Bequest Group has got into an exclusive license agreement with Berluti Paris and opened its first store in India at famous luxury destination Emporio mall in Delhi.

The exclusive store will house a complete lifestyle range of shoes, leather goods and ready-to-wear pieces that will include Alessandro shoes, Un Jour or Deux Jour briefcases and Playtime sneakers.
 
The Bequest group, which currently has exclusive partnership rights for Bang & Olufsen in India has bought the Indian rights for Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy's subsidiary, brand Berluti Paris.

“Berluti Paris’ exclusive partnership with Bequest ensures that its global standards are maintained in India as well. The retail staff has also been given extensive training to provide a Paris-like experience to the discerning shoppers,” Gaganmeet Singh, CEO, Bequest Group, said in a statement.
 
Bequest is also planning to further expand its luxury portfolio by bringing leading brands like, Brunello Cucinelli and others to India through exclusive partnerships.
 
Besides opening new stores through exclusive partnership, Bequest will also expand the presence of existing brands like UK-based cosmetics brand Molton Brown and Paris-based perfume house Creed.
 
Berluti was established in Paris in 1895 and has been built by four generations of shoemakers.
