Bath & Body Works to enter India with Major Brands

Bath & Body Works is all set to enter the Indian market by partnering with leading retailer Major Brands. The brand will open two stores in India in the national capital Delhi at Select City Walk and DLF Mall of India.
 

The brand also plans to open a store at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon and later enter the fashion capital Mumbai.

The market size of India’s beauty, cosmetic and grooming market is expected to reach US $20 billion by 2025 from the current US $6.5 billion. A rising aspiration among Indians to look better groomed to feel good has led to this market’s rapid growth of more than 42 percent in the last five years”, Tushar Ved, President Major Brands India Pvt. Ltd said in a statement.
